Labaume village à bord de rivière

Labeaume

Surrounded by cliffs dug out into troglodyte caves, the village of Labeaume is tucked into the banks of the Beaume River. Its streets make up a labyrinth where stone houses form the borders of narrow, stone-paved streets and alleys. From the heights of the rocks above, the château overlooks the village while below hanging gardens built on the vertical sections of the promontory rise above the river.
