The village of Balazuc is located in a superb site. Perched on top of a cliff, it overlooks the Ardèche. Its narrow streets form a maze through many different stone houses that show its medieval past. Its roman church and square dungeon are very beautiful examples of this. There is a beautiful panorama of the village from the top of the Queen Jeanne Tower. A 15 minute walk from Balazuc, you can also see the hamlet of Viel Audon where the old buildings have been renovated.
